Start-up and commissioning of the installation coordinated with the facility's technology
We always approach commissioning and startup from the perspective of the entire installation, not just a single device. We integrate electrical, instrumentation, and control logic to ensure commissioning is consistent with the investment schedule and process requirements.
Even during the project preparation phase, we work with the client to determine the test sequence, voltage application sequence, test run principles, and results documentation. This ensures that all components are integrated at the time of commissioning: LV and MV switchgear, transformer stations, energy storage, automation systems, and master systems. This means a shorter time to achieve stable, repeatable system operation and a reduced risk of unplanned downtime during the initial period of operation.
The scope of control and measurement works tailored to the project
We approach each project individually, tailoring the scope of inspection, measurement, and commissioning work to each client’s needs. Depending on the client’s needs, we perform comprehensive tests of low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, power and control cables, uninterruptible power supply systems, capacitor banks, active filters, and busbar trunking.
We perform shock protection measurements, power quality analyses, and functional tests of devices in conditions resembling actual operation. We also parameterize protection devices, relays, PLCs, and DCSs, configure Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, IEC 61850, and IEC 60870 communications, and then conduct signal tests with supervisory systems. This broad scope allows us to identify potential problems before power is applied and the installation is commissioned for its intended operation.
Documentation, training, and post-go live support
For us, commissioning culminates not only in applying voltage and a test run, but also in comprehensive documentation and preparing the operator for independent operation. We prepare measurement reports, test and inspection reports, and acceptance procedures for each test stage, which form the basis for subsequent inspections and potential modernization.
We also offer training for maintenance and technical personnel in the operation of equipment, automation systems, and the correct interpretation of measurement results.
After commissioning, we can continue to support your team during the test run, and then with service, modernization, and subsequent commissioning related to system expansion. This provides you with a single partner responsible for the entire lifecycle of your installation – from the first power-up to years of safe operation.
